Ima Lion

Hi!  My name is Ima Lion & I'm a student at New Deal High School.  We are a STEM academy dedicated to developing our skills in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics.  We strive for excellence at all times.  As a Junior, I have been actively involved in Engineering classes that consist of Introduction to Engineering Design, Principles of Engineering, and Digital Electronics as well as various dual credit classes.

I am very involved in extra-curricular activities such as basketball, cheerleading, track, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, NHS, and Student Council.  I am also a student trainer for various athletic teams.  I was chosen, by my peers, to represent the Junior class as Homecoming Princess.

My goal is to use these various aspects of my life to pursue a career in the medical field or civil engineering upon the completion of my High School diploma requirements.  I aspire to attend Texas Tech University.
